Inauguració Jordi Santacana (6 febrer 2020)
Jordi Santacana arrossega “història”. És jove, però ja fa 23 anys que havia exposat (per primera i única vegada) a la Sala Rusiñol. I, alhora, és un vell conegut del nostre crític d’art, en Josep Mª Cadena.
Precisament, el Sr. Cadena s’ha fet notar especialment elogiós amb l’artista. «Fa molts anys que et conec. Recordo la teva primera exposició a Vilanova, quan tenies 17 anys. Jo et vaig fer la presentació. En Jordi Santacana era un noi inquiet, mogut, contestatari, rebel, que afirmava coses que no li agradaven d’aquest món: jo crec que conserva moltes d’aquelles qualitats!».
El Jordi ha volgut recordar les circumstàncies en què va conèixer el Sr. Cadena. «Estic molt content de poder veure en Josep Mª Cadena aquí perquè recordo aquells moments de l’any 84. Un conegut galerista em va recomanar que anés a parlar amb ell perquè no podia fer una exposició sense donar-li un sentit, una presentació. I va estar molt bé: vaig entrar en el món de la pintura per la porta gran!».
«Jordi Santacana disposa d’una figuració que parla per mitjà del paisatge i s’expressa amb colors i formes que aconsegueixen emocionar-nos i fer-nos participar de les veritats, les emocions i els sentiments més transcendents i elevats» (De la ressenya escrita per Josep Mª Cadena).
En la pintura paisatgística de Santacana la natura està en connexió amb l’home: «La seva pintura representa un paisatge no vist des de fora cap el paisatge, sinó introduint-se en ell mateix i fent que els arbres siguin la representació exacte dels sentiments humans». Amb raó aquesta mostra es titula “Formes orgàniques”: estem davant d’unes pintures que cerquen reflectir el nostre organisme interior.
