Inaugurem “En essència” de Katerina Alavedra-Duchoslav
El passat dijous 7 de setembre vam inaugurar la primera de les exposicions de la Temporada 2023-2024 que just ara iniciem.
Moments previs a la inauguració, ens va visitar Josep M. Vallès, alcalde de Sant Cugat. A la foto, la historiadora i crítica d’art, Imma Pueyo, li comenta tècnicament l’exposició, acompanyada de l’artista i d’Ignasi Cabanas, director de la Sala Rusiñol.
Un nombrós públic es va aplegar per tal de descobrir la nova col·lecció “En essència” que Katerina Alavedra-Duchoslav presenta a Sant Cugat.
A la imatge, el cònsol de la República Txeca a Barcelona, Hble Sr. Jaime Martín Puchol, Ignasi Cabanas i la crítica d’art Imma Pueyo, qui va dedicar aquestes paraules a l’artista i el seu treball:
“A les acaballes d’aquest estiu 2023 tan calorós, la Sala Rusiñol inaugura una nova temporada artística gracies a l’esforç i l’entusiasme per l’art d’Ignasi Cabanas, de la Victòria i de la Carme. El calendari d’exposicions l’inicia la pintora Katerina Alavedra-Duchoslav, essent aquesta la sisena vegada que exhibeix la seva obra en aquest espai.
En el treball artístic de Katerina Alavedra-Duchoslav observarem, a grans trets, dos temes: el paisatge urbà i la naturalesa. L’aspecte urbà el centra en dos territoris: Txèquia i Catalunya i no dubta en destacar Praga principalment, Barcelona i Sant Cugat. En aquesta exposició els paisatges txecs, catalans i les composicions amb elements naturals són objecte del seu estudi que ha connectat amb el títol: En essència. En essència, dona a entendre el conjunt de propietats d’un objecte que el fan ser el que és i també pot expressar les diferents condicions d’identitat. En aquesta línia a Praga l’hi designa un conjunt de propietats històric-artístiques amb altres properes a nivell emotiu, sentimental que connecten amb la infantesa i la joventut de la pintora. A Barcelona i Sant Cugat estableix un conjunt de propietats funcionals com ser l’espai de pertinença, proper físicament, és el lloc on passeja, on resideix.
L’amor que Katerina Alavedra-Duchoslav sent per Praga, la ciutat on va néixer, es manifesta quan selecciona els seus edificis singulars i el seu patrimoni arquitectònic excepcional que la caracteritza. L’artista destaca les construccions i els llocs més representatius, el pont Carles, la catedral, les places del centre, la torre de Malá Strana, els voltants al costat del riu Moldava. La ciutat és representada des de dalt com en un vol d’ocell migratori, ara en diríem des d’un dron, visualitzant-la ordenada geomètricament, com un conjunt de peces que es poden encaixar. Katerina ofereix a l’espectador de l’obra una manera de veure la ciutat i des de diferents punts de vista.
De Barcelona opta per destacar un enclavament emblemàtic com es el Passeig de Gràcia. El punt de referència de la perspectiva per a contemplar la ciutat es des de dalt, des d’un espai de lleure interior, enfront d’un rellotge que de manera simbòlica representa tant el pas del temps com el de descans, de calma. L’extern i l’intern es manifesten també en els temes entorn la natura: el paisatge de Sant Cugat i les composicions amb flors o paisatges d’interiors. Destacaríem que l’essència, el senyal d’identitat es expressar l’intimidat, l’espai personal delicat, ordenat amb objectes seleccionats. Un tema en el que Katia fa una síntesi figurativa de sensacions ordenades molt lliure i representativa del seu tarannà.
El procés pictòric de Katerina Alavedra-Duchoslav es laboriós: sobre una base realitzada amb acrílic procedeix a plasmar el traç continu que descriu els elements, composa i estructura el tema. A continuació la pintora aplica taques de color amb un procediment pictòric molt peculiar i personalitzat que caracteritza el seu estil. La tècnica genera una estructura de línies creuades que unides a l’hàbil control de l’espai i la manipulació dels plans de color, acreixen la visió d’ordre i equilibri en el conjunt. En totes les obres es respira una atmosfera nítida on els efectes volumètrics encaixen en un urbanisme de perspectives i carrers embolcallats amb la llum centreeuropea matisada, diferent a la mediterrània.
L’obra acull les sensacions que intervenen en la imaginació de l’artista, el temps simbòlic de les emocions, l’espai físic de pertinença a un lloc, l’espai personal i tots plegats configuren el concepte en essència. Un bravo per Katerina Alavedra-Duchoslav. Cal admirar la seva capacitat de treball i aquest seguir reflexionant en el seu treball en curs”.
A continuació va ser l’artista qui s’adreçà als assistents explicant les motivacions d’aquest nou treball alhora que recordà que aquesta és la sisena exposició individual que presenta a la galeria d’art.
Seguidament l’escriptora txeca Monica Zgustová (a l’esquerra de la imatge) dedicà unes emotives paraules a la Katerina i va fer lectura d’uns poemes.
