Inauguració Casademont -le vieux- Centenari (1923-2023)
Dijous 16 de març vam inaugurar l’exposició amb la que hem volgut homenatjar a Casademont -le vieux- en el Centenari del seu naixement.
La gran acollida de públic el dia de la apertura evidencia que l’artista va deixar una gran petjada i les seves obres exposades van permetre als assistents descobrir el seu darrer treball on destaquen els olis de les comarques gironines de composicions ordenades i resolts amb colors suaus i perfils lleugerament difuminats.
Vam comptar amb la presència de la Regidora de Cultura de l’Ajuntament de Sant Cugat, Sra. Esther Madrona i de l’artista Sergi Barnils, deixeble i gran amic de Casademont.
La Regidora de Cultura va destacar la importància de poder mostrar a Sant Cugat l’obra d’aquest artista internacional que va estar molt vinculat a la nostra ciutat ja que hi va viure durant vint anys. També va voler destacar que va quedar molt impressionada amb les obres que exposem ja que li van transmetre una immensa serenor.
Per la seva banda, Sergi Barnils ens va parlar de la faceta més personal i humana de l’artista. Va posar en valor l’espiritualitat de Casademont, un home de fe, que queda clarament reflectida en les atmosferes de les seves obres.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found
