Mar i cel, lluna plena, blaus actius i barques vistes des de l’aire, platges daurades i ciutats que s’expandeixen, són els elements que la pintora ens ofereix amb intensitat de missatge dins de l’aparent senzillesa d’expressió.
Els llenços de Dolors Curell capturen les belleses naturals –els cels en els que la llum s’obre pas a través dels núvols, les diferents tonalitats de les aigües que deixen veure el verd de la vegetació aquàtica i el daurat de la sorra, les games marronoses dels camps de cultiu…– i a la vegada reflexionen sobre la magnitud de l’univers en el que tenen lloc les nostres fugaces vides.
Les escenes captades per l’artista ens conviden a gaudir dels plaers del món. Però també ens recorden que ens movem sobre uns misteris tan insondables com les foses marines i que sempre es bo aixecar la vista cap al cel de la transcendència. I aquestes lliçons ens arriben mitjançant uns quadres dominats per l’excel·lència estètica.
La inauguració, DIJOUS 7 DE MARÇ A LES 19.30 h, amb la presència de l’artista, s’acompanyarà del comentari crític d’en Josep M. Cadena.
