Opening “Walks” by Abel Florido

Yesterday, Thursday 8 February, we opened what is the third solo exhibition of the artist Abel Florido.

On this occasion we had the pleasure of having the presence of Mrs. Núria Escamilla, Councillor for Culture of the City Council of Sant Cugat, who was enthusiastic about the artist’s work.

Apart from the themes of cities such as New York, Barcelona or Venice, which are usual in his paintings, Sant Cugat has had a special prominence with its millenary monastery and the most emblematic streets of the old town.

The artist’s sister, M. Dolors Florido, was in charge of drawing a more personal profile, where she let the audience know the passion for art that Abel already showed since he was a child.

The audience had the opportunity to ask the artist several questions and, in this way, to get a deeper insight into his work.
