Black Friday

Ens avancem per cinquè any consecutiu!

A partir de dijous dia 2 de novembre tens la possibilitat d’adquirir una selecció obres d”artistes de la Sala Rusiñol a preus especials.

Fins el 21 d’aquest mateix mes trobaràs, entre d’altres, obres de:

FIDEL BOFILL (1934-2013) Pintor i ceramista, interessat i practicant de diverses tècniques artístiques, va saber connectar amb l’impressionisme i connectar a través d’ell amb l’impuls creatiu de les transvanguardes que, de mica en mica, ens arribaven.

Va ser un paisatgista revitalitzador. De la mateixa manera com la Natura es renova dins del cicle de les estacions, Fidel Bofill va observar el seu entorn per a captar les seves gràcies, a la vegada que li transmetia els sentiments que cada vegada sentia créixer en el seu interior. Buscava i trobava, però com mai es va sentir satisfet amb aquesta primera acció, després tornava a buscar on havia trobat. I en aquesta posició es mantingué, conscient de què la matèria té en ella infinites possibilitats per a trobar noves harmonies i diferents registres que cal explorar.

Gran viatger, persona conscient de què cada lloc té una manera d’expressar-se i que totes poden confluir en la que se sent com a més pròpia, Fidel Bofill era internacional sense deixar d’ésser molt d’aquí, de Catalunya en general i d’Osona en particular. Quan veiem un dels seus quadres el sentim nostre, proper i encertat intèrpret del que reconeixem com més propi.

ALEXANDRE MATAS (1942-2008) Nascut a Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Girona), ingressà a l’Escola d’Arts i Oficis del seu poble de naixement. A partir de l’any 1959 participa a exposicions col·lectives. L’any 1966 presenta la seva primera exposició individual a Platja d’Aro. Un any després es consagra professionalment dins el món de la pintura. D’aleshores van sernombroses les exposicions realitzades a les principals galeries del nostre país i l’estranger.

L’any 1972 fa pel·lícules de 8 mm com Frius l’esquimal o Somni. Fou fundador i director del grup experimental Ninots amb el qual creà diversos curmetratges com Preludi en ja (1981), guanyador del Fil d’Or al millor film al 25è Festival de Curmetratges de Cannes (1982) i el Cavaller d’Argent al millor film d’animació a Malta (1983); també rodaren Missió espacial (1987), coproduït per TV3 i la Generalitat de Catalunya i guanyador també de diversos premis com el Cavaller d’Or al millor film d’animació al XVIII Festival de Cinema Independent de Malta i el Primer Premi al XXVIII Festival de Curts d’Algarbe (Portugal, 1989).

Matas era pintor de la naturalesa –oberta al paisatge urbà i marí- que acomplia a través d’una subjectivació, en quant a la interpretació, que es val de tècniques que pertanyen, per herència, a l’impressionisme. Els seus temes són fruit de tot allò que, de la realitat que l’envoltava, l’enamorava: des d’un racó íntim, a una oberta panoràmica, d’un vora mar on hi reposen unes barques, a una mar que es perd en l’horitzó…

La seva obra neix d’una sòlida estructuració. Posseeix un gran domini del dibuix la qual cosa li permetia cedir al color tot el protagonisme, sigui en el que pertoca a la descripció o a l’expressió emotiva que la seva pintura traspua.

Una paleta a la que no hi falta cap color i de la que es servia mitjançant una acurada pinzellació, és la que, no oblidant-se de què els efectes lumínics són vàlids per a completar-li la representació, emprava amb eficàcia descriptiva. Si la representació, a la seva obra, neix de ritmes acordats a la realitat que dibuixa, l’aportació cromàtica la fa vestida d’una poètica interpretació que deixa justificada i embellida a la plural figuració que conreava dintre d’una versió que no perd l’objectivitat que la motiva. És a dir, una pintura del natural, al natural.

Trobem obra seva al Museu de Belles Arts de Santander, al de la Catedral de Girona i a la Pinacoteca Municipal Llegat Francesc Galí de Palamós.

JORDI AMAGAT (1956) Neix a Les Planes, Girona l’any 1956. Pintor adscrit a la nova figuració (moviment que neix com alternativa a les tendències dominants al voltant dels anys seixanta: abstracció i nou realisme), presenta una nova visió dels –ismes de començaments de segle, principalment cubisme i pintura metafísica.

La seva primera exposició data de l’any 1980. D’aleshores fins l’actualitat ha realitzat nombroses exposicions tant de caràcter individual com col·lectiu a les principals galeries del nostre país.

A nivell internacional cal destacar les exposicions realitzades a Miami (USA) i a Bologna (Itàlia).

M. MAYORAL G. (1926-2018) L’any 1927 es traslladà amb la seva família de Saragossa a Barcelona. Alternà els estudis amb l’assistència a les classes de dibuix i pintura que impartia l’artista Tàrrega-Viladoms a la popular acadèmia que portava el seu nom i, més tard, al 1942, amb el pintor Olivet Legarés. La seva primera exposició col·lectiva data de l’any 1944.

Des d’aleshores mai va deixar de pintar i les seves obres es podien contemplar a les galeries d’art més importants tant espanyoles com estrangeres. També a col·leccions particulars i oficials de Japó, Estats Units, Itàlia, França, Bèlgica, Mèxic… i a oficines de diverses entitats així com a museus. Gas Natural, Fundació Asepeyo, Port de Barcelona, Ajuntament de Barcelona, Fundació Museu Vila Casas… són posseïdors de les seves obres. També és nombrosa la bibliografia que li ha estat publicada i destacar que La Biblioteca Vaticana i Edicions Médiques, entre d’altres, també han recollit part d’aquestes publicacions. Mitjans de comunicació com La Vanguardia, Correo Catalán, Destino, Annuaire International d’Art de París, TV2, TV3… es van fer ressó de la seva obra d’incofusible harmonia i de natural elegància plàstica.

RUIZ ORTEGA (1951) Nascut a Jerez de la Frontera, l’any 1951. Un cop traslladat a Barcelona, cursa estudis a l’Escola Superior de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi, on anys més tard va impartir classes. Becat per la Universitat de Perugia, debutà individualment l’any 1979 a Sant Cugat del Vallès. Més tard exposa a Santander, Terrassa, Girona, Olot, Viena, Setúbal (Portugal), València, Madrid i Barcelona. Participa en itinerants que porten els seus treballs per tota Andalusia.

Guanyador de nombrosos premis (Primer Premi de Pintura de la Direcció General de Belles Arts, Barcelona 1971; o el Premi Inglada Guillot el 1982). Te obra al Museu d’Art Modern de Barcelona, a la Diputació Provincial de Santander i a diferents col·leccions privades.

Construeix els quadres des d’una base esteticista. Hàbil amb el dibuix, crea una atmosfera de neo-romanticisme.

ANDREU FRESQUET (1940) Estudià a Barcelona, a Llotja (1955-62) i al Conservatori de les Arts del Llibre. Ha mantingut una constant preocupació per les arts gràfiques.

Jordi Andreu Fresquet és un dels noms reconeguts de la pintura catalana contemporània i compta amb obres repartides en museus d’Itàlia, Veneçuela o Califòrnia i també aquí a casa nostra, com per exemple al Macba. Un estil de pintura que recorda l’obra de Francis Bacon. La seves creacions, però, no només s’han limitat als quadres, sinó que també ha sortit al carrer. Fresquet ha col·laborat amb els guarnits de Festa Major del carrer de Joan Blanques i de la plaça de Rovira i Trias, que va quedar en les primeres posicions amb el disseny Somnis.

VIVES FIERRO (1940) Estudià a la Llotja de Barcelona. Als vint anys es traslladà a París i més tard a Londres, Nova York i Ginebra, on pren contacte amb la pintura i els museus. L’any 1962 retorna i presenta la seva primera exposició a Cartagena. Dos anys després incia un nombrós itinerari d’exposicions al nostre país. A nivell internacional la seva obra ha estat exposada a Suïssa, França, Grècia, Cuba, Nova York… així com a museus, entre els que podem destacar el Museu Reina Sofia d’Atenes o el Museu Olímpic de Laussane. També ha presentat exposicions monogràfiques al Gran Teatre del Liceu i al Palau de la Música Catalana. Ha obtingut diversos premis com el de Dibuix del Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona i són nombroses les publicacions dedicades a la seva obra.

Artista que sap mirar més enllà del que veu, aprofita la brillantor de tota activitat social per a trobar els lligams amb una societat molt més complexa i que sap de les dificultats en què es mouen els éssers humans a molts lloc del món. Parteix de les ciutats com a organismes vius per a crear unes obres amb personalitat plural i dinàmica, amb construcció i destrucció alhora, amb cartells i rètols que formen part d’un conjunt que és primordialment comunicatiu des de les formes i els colors.

RAFAEL GRIERA (1934-2018) Nascut circumstancialment a Les Palmes de Gran Canària l’any 1934. El seu pare tenia un taller d’imatgeria religiosa a Olot, on va aprendre a realitzar totes les tècniques relacionades amb aquest art i on va desenvolupar una gran activitat artística. Comença a realitzar els seus primers viatges per a vendre aquestes imatges de sants. Estudià a l’Escola de Belles Arts d’Olot durant un breu període de temps.

Als dotze anys guanyà el seu primer premi al Centre Catòlic. Als divuit formà part del grup “Cràter d’Art”, al costat de diversos artistes que es reunien periòdicament. S’influencià d’Anglada Camarassa, a qui conegué mentre feia el servei militar a Palma de Mallorca, i del pintor Vermeer de Delft.

Realitzà la seva primera exposició l’any 1954. El seu historial d’exposicions és molt extens, tant a nivell nacional com internacional.

Very few dogs today have to be put to sleep to alleviate suffering. There are always choices to be made, but the vast majority of affected animals can live quite comfortable lives. Depending on how severe the damege is pain medication and anti-inflammatory drugs can be given. Another very good supplement to give is glueclosamine. Eventually though surgery might be necessary. . . I would suggest talking to the shelter about having him examined by a vet of your choice before officially adopting him. If you are willing to spend a little money to consult with a vetranarian you’ll be able to discuss this guy’s prognosis. This way you can know beforehand if his case is mild or severe and what treatment options are reccommended and at what cost. I hope I haven’t scared you away from adopting this dog because it may only be arthritis misdiagnosed or a mild case of hip dysplasia, only a vet can tell you for sure.
