Estem a la tardor i inaugurem una exposició majorment de tardor. A en Miguel Peidró li hem preguntat si pinta també les altres estacions. —«Sí, però l’estiu és massa “mono-cromo”. A més, m’agrada trobar l’equilibri entre els meus gustos i el que em demana la gent. I em demanen molt la tardor»…
En Miguel Peidró es va estrenar a la Sala Rusiñol ara fa uns quatre anys. És un pintor a qui li acompanya l’èxit i l’acceptació: avui —divendres 7 d’octubre— és aquí, però acaba d’inaugurar el paral·lel a Madrid. I no fa molt —i en diverses ocasions— a Taiwan i Japó. És un privilegi tenir-lo aquí novament!
De la ressenya escrita d’en JosepMª Cadena: «La vida, expressada de forma especial a través de la Natura, existeix des de molt abans de l’aparició de l’home, però és aquest qui, gràcies a la intel·ligència i la sensibilitat, ha aconseguit fixar la seva bellesa mitjançant allò que hem acordat anomenar art. I a aquesta tasca s’encomana amb gran encert el pintor alacantí Miguel Peidro, que exposa novament a la Sala Rusiñol de Sant Cugat».
Ja en viu, durant el vernissatge, en Cadena començà per un esclariment: «Altres li diuen Peidro, però per a mi és en Miguel Peidró, alicantí d’Alcoy». Dit això, entrà en matèria: «Peidró ens evoca coses, en concret, la realitat que existeix però que tenim la sensació que s’ha perdut, por la emergència de les ciutats, amb totxos, boscos cremats… Nogensmenys, els llocs idíl·lics, la natura, no han desaparegut!
En Josep Mª Cadena encara insistí més en aquesta qüestió de l’evocació: «A en Miguel Peidró li agrada la natura, i la visita, hi camina, va fent notes… Després les treballa. El resultat són paisatges que existeixen, però que en primer lloc han estat en els sentiments del pintor. Quan veiem els seus quadres ens diem: —Oh, això ho he vist! On? No ho sé. En Miguel descriu profunditats, arbres, ambient amb boirines d’algun moment determinat, d’algun moment màxim. I la nostra imaginació s’atura, observa i hi participa. Això és que fa en Miguel Peidró».
En Peidró expressà el seu agraïment envers la Sala Rusiñol: «La mostra ha quedat molt bonica». Ens explica que ell vol oblidar-se de les tendències i modes per a poder posar tota la seva passió en les seves produccions. «Pinto allò que m’agrada i hi poso tot el cor». —«Quan temps necessites per a pintar un dels teus quadres?». —«Al voltant d’un mes. És una mica com la cuina: tot té el seu temps. A vegades la meva dona em diu que ja n’hi ha prou…».
