\"\"Mr. Josep M. Cadena\u00a0<\/span><\/b>has remarked this historic fact: \u00abThe owner of this Gallery has said that they have devoted 33 years\u00a0<\/b>to the figurative painting. But, at the same time, Crua\u00f1as fulfills \u201chalf a century\u201d<\/b>of painting\u2026 So, Crua\u00f1as was already painter \u2014he was already exhibiting\u2014 when they created the Rusi\u00f1ol Gallery in 1986. My first contact with Josep Crua\u00f1as was in 1985, at the Comas Gallery, in Barcelona<\/span>\u00bb<\/span> .<\/span>

It always seems to me that I start again (\u2026). He is, in my opinion, a creative person who knows how to find himself and who always reveals new qualities in his topics. He searches until he connects with the mysterious tinkle of novelty in the environment that he has chosen<\/span>\u00bb.<\/span>

\"\"An endearing aspect of today: three painters \u2014all of them well-known at the Rusi\u00f1ol Gallery\u2014 had met during this inauguration. In addition of the artist who exhibited, there have been also present Benet Sarsanedas<\/b>\u2014an old-friend of Crua\u00f1as\u2014 and Juan Antonio Tenorio<\/b>, who has put an “artist-question”: \u2014\u00abWhen does the painter decide that his work is over?\u00bb. The answer: \u2014\u00abWhen you sign it, although you think that you could have put more or have removed something. Anyway, it\u2019s over when you cannot take anything else<\/span>!<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/b>The biographical descriptions characterize Josep Crua\u00f1as\u00a0<\/b>as \u00aban impressionist painter with some abstracts dyes, who transmits a special vaporiness within of very humid atmosphere\u00bb. But, \u2014\u00abWhere do the dark color and tonality of these paintings come from? The painter replied: \u2014\u00abOn my palette I put white, yellow and orange, and I get these dark colors. It’s my range!, my language!, and I can not give up on it<\/span>\u00bb. <\/span><\/span>
