\"2\"<\/a>Later, Mr. Josep M. Cadena spoke to us about Miquel Cabanas not only as a painter, but also about his poetic profile. He highlighted the 27 paintings exhibited and selected by Miriam Cabanas \u2014granddaughter of the artist\u2014 that gave us a view of Sant Cugat from the end of 70\u2019 up to 1994, one year before his death.<\/p>\n

Now the historian Dom\u00e8nec Miquel is speaking and giving an interesting dissertation about the changes suffered by the old village of Sant Cugat to the current city. The speaker remarked the growth of population and the urban transformation.<\/p>\n

\"4\"<\/a>Frederic Cabanas, who is also a son of the artist, is reading emotively a letter addressed to his father. This letter, written by a friend of the artist, reflects clearly the personality and the feelings of Miquel Cabanas both as a painter and a poet.<\/p>\n

\"5\"<\/a>Finally, Jordi Franquesa \u2014a reader of rhapsodies and a friend\u2014 gave away the reading of two poems of Miquel Cabanas, collected in the book \u201cVoiliaina, twelve chosen poems\u201d<\/em>, which were very emotive for the attendees, particularly for the members of the Cabanas\u2019 family.<\/p>\n
