\"1\"<\/a>We are in Autumn and we are inaugurating an exhibition almost totally dedicated to Autumn. We have asked Miguel Peidr\u00f3<\/strong> if he also paints other seasons. \u2014\u00abOh, yes, but summer is too \u201cmono-cromo\u201d. Furthermore, I like to find the balance between my own likes and what people expect from me. And they often ask for autumn.<\/p>\n

Miguel Peidr\u00f3 exhibited for the first time at the Rusi\u00f1ol Gallery four years ago. He is a successful painter, with a very good acceptance. Today \u2014Friday, October the 7th<\/sup>\u2014 he is here, but he has just inaugurated a parallel exhibition in Madrid. And not so long ago in Taiwan and in Japan also. It is a privilege to have him here again!<\/p>\n

\"2\"<\/a>From the writings of the art-critic Josep M. Cadena<\/strong>: \u00abLife, expressed specially through Nature, has existed before the appearance of man. But it is the man, thanks to his intelligence and sensibility, who has portrayed the beauty through what we call \u201cart\u201d. And the painter Miguel Peidr\u00f3 devotes his existence to this commitment\u00bb.

\"3\"<\/a>Mr. Cadena<\/strong> made a preliminary explanation in his speech during the inauguration: \u00abOther people call him Peidro, but for me he is Miguel Peidr\u00f3, from Alcoy (Alicante)\u00bb. Having said that, Mr. Cadena added the following about the exhibition: \u00abPeidr\u00f3 is evoking things, specifically, that reality exists, in spite of the feeling that it has been lost, due to the growth of cities, due to the burnt forests\u2026 Nevertheless, nature and idyllic places haven\u2019t disappeared!\u00bb.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"4\"<\/a>Josep M. Cadena<\/strong> continues: \u00abMiguel Peidr\u00f3 likes nature, he visits it, walks through it, takes notes\u2026 After that, he works on it. The results are the landscapes that exist, but first they have existed in the feelings of the painter. When we see his paintings, we say to ourselves: \u2014\u00abOh, I have seen this before! Where? I don\u2019t know!\u00bb. Miguel describes depths, trees, and foggy environments in determinate moments. And our imagination is halted, observes it and shares it. This is what Miguel Peidr\u00f2 is doing\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"5\"<\/a>Peidr\u00f3<\/strong> thanked the Rusi\u00f1ol Gallery: \u00abThe exhibition is wonderful\u00bb. He explains that he wants to forget trends and fashions in order to put all his passion into his productions. \u00abI paint what I like, and there I put all my heart\u00bb \u2014\u00abHow much time do you need for every one of your paintings?\u00bb. \u2014\u00abAround one month. This is more or less like cooking: everything requires its time. Sometimes my wife says to me \u201cthat\u2019s enough!\u201d\u2026\u00bb.<\/p>\n
