“Colors of the Penedès” by Antoni Chia

We begin this new season with the work of Antoni Chia, an artist we had the pleasure of presenting to you in 2005.

Now, twenty years later, we are pleased to showcase his latest work, “Colors of Penedès,” which reflects his sincere intention to share the array of sensations evoked by the landscape.

The artist demonstrates his expressive potential, where the pictorial material, the measured language of color, and the gesture of the brushstroke come together to create a work full of sensitivity, strength, and at the same time, lyricism. 

The exhibition will be presented by  TERESA-MONTSERRAT SALA I GARCÍA Art history professor at the University of Barcelona.
