Menchu Uroz to celebrate our 39th Anniversary

This May, the Sala Rusiñol celebrates 39 years of cultural trajectory with an exhibition that speaks directly to the soul. The opening will be on Thursday 8 May at 7 pm.

‘Where I live’, by Menchu Uroz, is an invitation to cross the threshold between the real world and the intimate world, where memory, nature and introspection become a habitable landscape.

His work, internationally recognised and awarded, opens the doors of a universe where spaces are transformed into scenarios of suggested experiences, populated by silent characters and spheres of light that seem to contain everything that is not said.

With a refined technique and a soft and emotional palette, he invites us to observe, feel and inhabit his compositions as if they were fragments of our own memory.

The artist will travel from Madrid to join us for the opening.

The exhibition will be presented by MARIA SABI, childhood friend, with a reading of texts by the artist ISABEL GUTIÉRREZ.
