We have planted 8 trees!

In the heart of Sant Cugat, in Can Vernet Park, on Saturday 29 March 2025 at 12 noon, a planting of 8 trees took place with the collaboration of the City Council, accompanied by a live artistic performance by the artist CARLES AZCÓN and a musical performance by the singer-songwriter MARTA SHANTI.

This action was born during the exhibition ‘The great green’ by the artist Carles Azcón, which was presented last year in the Sala Rusiñol and which claimed the importance of preserving our natural environment. The people who bought works by the artist have actively participated in the planting of the plants.
Here are some snapshots of the planted trees:

This initiative has made it possible to link art with values of sustainability and environmental responsibility and has actively contributed to a greener and more liveable city, in line with the values of environmentalism and respect for our natural surroundings.
We would like to make special mention of the support we have received from Sant Cugat City Council, which has actively collaborated in making this project a reality. The event was attended by the Mayor of the city, Josep Maria Vallès, and the Deputy Mayor for Urban Management, Mobility and Climate Change, Cristina Paraira.

Here is the news about the event, published by Sant Cugat TV and CugatMedia.
