We draw the Pi d’en Xandri

On Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 April, the Sala Rusiñol was full of young people as we opened the gallery to give way to the creativity of the youngest members of the public.

Under the guidance of the artist CARLES AZCÓN, they were able to visit the exhibition dedicated to the Pi d’en Xandri and, afterwards, they began to draw and colour this emblematic pine tree with crayons.

The activity was very well received to the point that only one session was planned and the large number of participants made us open two groups on two different days.

But it was not only the children who took part in these sessions, as parents and grandparents who accompanied them were also very actively involved.

Here you have the news published by TV Sant Cugat, which was present during one of the sessions and which clearly shows the success of the event.
Once the works were finished, the Sala Rusiñol, in collaboration with the shop Els Tres Reis, gave the participants a box of Manley crayons, a pencil and an eraser so that they could continue creating their works of art at home.
Some of the results were these!

It has been an enriching experience for all of us and we will probably repeat it in the future.
