Tarrés Féniz will be honoured at the Christmas exhibition

This Christmas, the Sala Rusiñol is dressed in tradition and sensitivity to pay tribute to Joan Tarrés Féniz (1928-2020), one of the great painters who have marked the history of our gallery.

With the collaboration of his family, we have prepared a unique exhibition that brings together an exquisite selection of his still lifes, works that capture the light, serenity and elegance of the art of everyday life.

We invite you to discover, or rediscover, the work of this artist who has left his mark on Catalan painting. It is our small tribute to an essential figure and a cultural gift for these very special dates.

His son, Josep M. Tarrés Juanico, will be in charge of presenting the exhibition this Thursday at 7 p.m.
