Opening Carles Azcón “The great green”
Last Thursday we inaugurated Carlos Azcón’s exhibition, which under the title “El Gran Verd” is a cry against climate change and in defense of nature.
The exhibition is accompanied by an interesting initiative since for each work sold during the exhibition, we will plant a tree in a public space in the city. So, whoever acquires a painting is contributing to community well-being.
The opening was chaired by the mayor of our city, JOSEP M. VALLÈS, who was also accompanied by the culture councilor NURIA ESCAMILLA.
The critical commentary was provided by the artist and art critic ANNA TAMAYO. As always, Ignasi Cabanas, director of the Sala Rusiñol, was in charge of starting the parliaments.
The opening was a great success with the public. The Rusiñol Room was full of friends, followers, clients and enthusiasts in general. All of them were able to immerse themselves in the forest bath that the artist proposes with this collection.
