We celebrate our 36th ANNIVERSARY of cultural activity by honoring a great artist, closely linked to the Sala Rusiñol, and who left us in 2021: JOSEP BAQUÉS.

In the painting of Josep Baqués we find a magical, mysterious and symbolic world, concentrating a mixture of unreality and reality that passes through dreams.
 

The rigorous technical training, the imaginative capacity and the very original and personal style, while suggestive and sensitive, are the most characteristic features of his work.
