Ulpiano Carrasco’s opening
A large audience attended the opening of the exhibition of the painter from Cuenca, Ulpiano Carrasco.
Born in the province of Cuenca, in a district of Villanueva de la Jara, already in La Mancha looking towards Albacete, the painter Ulpiano Carrasco helps us discover how the landscape can become an exalted symphony of colors at certain times of the year.
It is necessary that we look at the paintings that Ulpiano Carrasco presents us with a desire for collective recovery, seeing in their color the necessary impulse to overcome the limitations of the present time. His painting is a true cry that is born of pain but that encourages us to meet again as people who believe in a future that goes beyond inventions and technology, since its objective is the spirit that seeks to incardinate itself in the true reasons for the existence of life.
Ulpiano Carrasco took a tour of his extensive career and explained to those attending the inauguration his humble origins and his personal and family struggle to be able to dedicate himself to the world of art.
Her intervention was highly applauded as well as that of the historian and art critic Imma Pueyo who drew up a careful analysis of this pictorial work that she presents in our art gallery until May 10th.
It should be noted that, since 2018, the date on which he presented the last exhibition in the Rusiñol Gallery, the artist has not exhibited in any gallery in Spain since his activity takes place exclusively at an international level.
Once the presentation was over, the audience was able to get to know the artist more closely, sharing experiences, anecdotes and feelings.
