Vernissatge d’en Casas Anfruns (8 febrer 2013)
S’inicia la inauguració de l’exposició “Casas Anfruns, Gaudí i el Món”. L’artista s’adreça als presents i els hi agraeix moltíssim la seva assistència. “No és fàcil que la gent dediqui el seu temps a les inauguracions i el fet de trobar-me avui tan ben acompanyat m’omple de joia”. Després, ens fa un recorregut pels temes que es poden veure als seus quadres, on les ciutats són les protagonistes, i, especialment, Barcelona i Gaudí
El director de la galeria destaca la gran sensibilitat de l’artista i explica que aquesta és la quarta vegada que Casas Anfruns exposa a la Sala Rusiñol. “A les seves obres la ciutat de Barcelona sempre ha tingut un especial protagonisme. En aquesta ocasió s’obre al món, ha ampliat temes i maneres de dir i, per això, us recomano que mireu l’exposició amb calma”.
Ignasi Cabanas disculpa l’absència del crític d’art Josep M. Cadena. Explica que per motius de força major aquest vespre no ha pogut assistir a l’acte. En aquest moment inicia la lectura d’un extracte de l’article “El sentit íntim i mundial de Gaudí a l’obra de Casas Anfruns” que el crític havia escrit amb motiu de l’exposició que es presenta i on es fa referència a la trajectòria de Casas Anfruns i a la genialitat de l’arquitecte reussenc. 
Finalitzat el comentari, i arran d’un incís fet per Ignasi Cabanas, té lloc un simpàtic moment on l’artista i el galerista expliquen una anècdota que els succeí ja fa temps a l’emblemàtica muntanya del Pedraforca. Sembla que el pintor convidà al galerista a pujar la muntanya però el moment de la baixada va ser força complex i l’ajut del primer va ser més que necessari. “Tot va acabar molt bé però, superada aquella situació, la meva fita està en el Pedraforca” diu Ignasi Cabanas.
Com és habitual a la Sala Rusiñol, els assistents inicien el torn de preguntes. Gràcies a les respostes hem sabut que Casas Anfruns pinta des de sempre: “Pinto des de tota la vida. La meva mare, com que sabia que ho feia força bé, ja amb cinc anys, em comprava material”. També que ja abans dels anys ’90 un galerista de Barcelona, després de vendre-li un quadre de la Pedrera, l’animà a pintar sobre l’obra de Gaudí, tot i que ell ja n’era un enamorat d’aquest home genial: “Considero que en Gaudí és la persona més important que ha hagut a Catalunya”.
